Frenchman's Cold Weather Fly Fishing

Thanks to a fellow flyfisher'woman - for some of her latest fishing adventures...

Rainbow Trout at Frenchman's Lake, our favorite spot for flyfishing. The photo with snow in the backround was taken in December of 2004, by the damn, the rest of the lake was covered with thin ice, this was my last catch of the season for Frenchman's, he hit my maroon wooly deep and hard, and gave a fun fight! We do well at Frenchman's on wooly buggers of all colors and a bloode midge brassie that we tie, shown in photo.

We want to check out Sparks Marina for some floatube action, I hope our wooly's willwork there.

Thanks Shelly and keep us informed with your up-and-coming fishing adventures.
