Decent Trout Fishing on the Truckee River

Thanks goes out again to Nicki, a fellow fisherwoman, for her pictures and hot tips on what's working on the Truckee River this summer.

"For the trout, I've used either salmon eggs on a split shot, or lures - depends on what the fish are in the "mood" for! My most recent trips, they have been more interested in the lures - usually rooster tails, but caught some of the bigger trout on a Panther Martin silver Blue Fox!"
