Successful Opening Day at Pyramid Lake

Got One. Got Two. Got another one on...

The only thing better than a bad day of fishing is a really terrific day of fishing and that's exactly what opening day was out at Pyramid Lake this Sunday. The weather was picture perfect, the water was warm and the fish were nothing smaller than 18 - 22 inches long.

If you were fishing from a boat, the hour wait to drop your boat in the water made it all worthwhile. Even the shore fisherman were hitting their limits in record time. One right after the other seemed to be the theme for yesterday's opening season of Cutthroat Trout.
