Upland Game Bird Season Begins October 14

Just sending out a quick reminder that although the Rifle Deer Season is opening this weekend, the upland game bird season does not open until October 14. The season will run from October 14, 2006 until January 31, 2007.



"An upland game bird stamp is required to hunt upland game birds, except turkey and crow, for anyone age 12 or older. Funds from the stamp sales are used to support guzzler maintenance and habitat work that benefits upland game bird species." - NDOW

The Nevada Department of Wildlife would like to remind everyone who will be using off-road vehicles to please be careful in fire-damaged areas or any off-road area.
